Went to saw NDP rehersal today.
Wonder why it continues to draw great crowds and great audience response every year despite the fact that it has no novelty and the fact that it is blowing up taxpayers money by the explosion of minues fireworks or the firing of rounds.
Is NDP really that fantastic?
On the TV screen, maybe.
In the actual stadium, with the performances and visual displays nowhere as visible and spectacular as that on the square box, I beg to differ.
Going from Jurong to Kallang just to soak up in the patriotic atmosphere. Is it worth the time and effort?
Maybe yes.
Yet again, maybe no.
