EPL

Had a good time talking about the EPL and european soccer today.

Me and my friends were trying to list the players in EPL long long ago, at the time when there was still the good old channel twelve (Ahhh) which will telecast matches every weekend. Haha... How I miss the good old times, when Blackburn lived up to its name of having no blacks ( all burnt?), and when I will stay up on Saturday night to watch the likes of Cantona, Shearer, Sheringham etc showcase their dazzling skills and goalscoring prowess, and listening to BBC at half and full times to catch the scores. Now, without cable TV, I doubt I will ever had that kind of fun I used to have. SO SAD... =(

Still, the images then were etched deeply in my memory. Paul Rideout scoring a memorable header against the red revils in the FA cup final; the championship blackburn team, which consists of ripley, shearer, sherwood, hendry, flowers etc celebrating wildly after the Red devils were held by the hammers; Dennis the Menace and Dazzling Gazza scoring spectacular ingenious goals in the World/Euro cup; not to mentioned the master of Kungfu Kick, Cantona and his antics on and off field.

I miss the times when Stan the Man and Heskey were worshipped heroes and not the zeroes they are deemed as today.
I am still trying to figure out the members of the Crystal Palace team which played in the premier league. Can somebody out there help?
