Gone

Another friend went overseas to study.
Another contact lost probably.
Another friend probably no more.
Another person dissolve into memories

Miss the times spent toking cock
at 7B and 70 class benches and lecture halls
Miss the times disturbing him working,
Teasing him during Chem Olympiad lessons.

Wonder how a slack person like me,
Can get to know one as studious as him.
We were originally miles apart in character,
Now, we add a geographical dimension to the distance.

When he enjoy his new life abroad,
Wonder whether he will still remember his Sec 4 frens.
The 4 years of fun and laughter,
the 4 years of shit we went through together.

They say that friendship dulls with time and distance,
Fades as one enlarges his social circles.
Yet I stubbornly reserve a place for him in my heart,
Naively hoping as though he will do the same

The distance of a million miles,
Can it be bridged or will it drift further?
Neither me nor him knoes,
Only in the near future will it show.
