Happy bitchy birhday, Singapore!

Hmm... national day parade was a bore...... cos throughout the whole parade, I had one nagging thought gnawing at the back of my head.

How come when they fire the rifles, there was no expended rounds flying out? Or is there, but I can't see? But it cant be, I mean, wouldn't the rounds hit others as it flew out from the chamber? Or is there a hidden ammo pouch I cant see, some modified compartment in the rifles? Yet they look like perfect M16 to me? Or is the ammo not the usual 5.56 blanks, just that I am too ignorant to know of such high technology?

Somehow, I wish I wasnt so inquisitive...And, oh yar, the fireworks were boring too.. cos Ive seen them before...
The only good thing about national day?
A free holiday for me of course.
