SARSfocated

Haha.. Pls.. u all no need to remind me that I was slow again. =p
I knoe the temperature taking for SARS has been removed long ago, ok?
Heh, but couldn't help remembering the first time when i put the slim digital gadget into my big corpulent mouth, how this very same gadget now left chucked inside my drawer.
Couldnt help thinking about how the panic that SARS brought about with it initially slowly evolved into a joke, like the SARS rap, SARSi drink, and all other crap. (rap, crap? haha now that RHYmes... =))
Couldnt help thinking about how the excitement and hoohah about the thermometer ( yes, im an ignorant peasant) evolved into a chore of taking daily temperatures.
Couldn't help thinking about the fun times when I have to find different people from camp to take their temperatures ( and subsequently chitchat with them a while), and when we desperately hunt all over the block for the SARS record book.

SARS may be nothing more than a passing history in the eyes of the legions of people around the world.
But, in me, it has left behind memories that cannot be SARSituted for any price, the endless filling up of the SARS declaration form, the pasting of the ridiculous sticker on the chest, the using of the thermometer, the fear and panic, people wearing masks, giving you free seats when you sneeze ( haha.. i discover that by chance, cause they flee once you sneeze on MRT, den got free seats, gwahahaha)
and others miscellaneous things that accompanied me for a long time.

SARS may be gone for good, but its memories SARSvive and live on...
