Wonder why I always feel excited when someone I know is going on a TV show.
I vivdly remember looking eagerly to seeing my sister act in a drama serial. Don't really remember why though.
I reminisce the times when I accidentally catch glimpses of acquaintances in TV interviews or shows. The surprise I felt is still etched deeply in my memory.
I can also recall the times when a hwachong schoolmate is going to participate in Who wants to be a millionaire. That day, I was glued to the 14-inch screen.
I could not forget the times when I saw my friends participate in ming ren tic-tac toe. That night, I did not do my tutorials.
I saw my senior in 'ling ji yi dong' yesterday. I return home directly after camp for that sole purpose.
Really wonder what draws me to such TV programmes. Is it the admiration of my friends bravery, the curiousity of seeing them and how they react on the screen, or is it just plain human nature to look out for people they know?
May some kind and wise soul enlighten this ignorant peasant here.
