In societies, gd work or exemplary performance are seldom rewarded, on the other hand, any mistakes or offence, no matter how minor, whether it is done with malicious intentions or whether it was a pure honest mistake, will seldom go unpunished. A policeman may catch a lot of criminals but if one day, he accidentally kill a passerby, none of his superiors can save him. One may ask, what use is it then, working for pple who claims credit for things u have done, yet punish u at the slightest unintentional mistake made? Honestly, I dunno either, and i am trying very hard to convince myself that it is worthwhile. Fail at this task, and i may find myself heading towards the darkest period of my life.
As unfortunate it is, the above is not the sole reason dat make one feel so unjustified. A good worker will make his superiors dependant on him. As such, even if the worker expresses strong desire to leave the place due to certain reasons, he is not allowed to leave. In normal societies, the good worker will receive incentives to keep him in the company. Unfortunately, in some places, the superiors have absolute power over whether the worker can leave or not, and thus, will be able to retain the good but alas sad and disgrunted worker.
The ironic part is that lazy, incompetant workers enjoy better life than their capable counterparts. Why is this so? Allow me to explain. Firstly, they have less things to do, less responsibilities. Not only is this relaxing, it reduces the chance for them to make those minor yet irritating mistakes. As such, they are rarely punished. Not only that, their reduced workscope makes them pratically invulnerable to irresponsible and unreasonable decisions from the top hierarchy, thus sparing them the agony of doing 'moronic' things. Because of their uselessness, superiors will be more den willing to let them go if they desire. And not to mention that they earn the same keep as their friends who are doing ten times more work den them.
The above seems to contradict the common notion that hard work is often rewarded, and instead encourages slacking. How can an organisation/society based on these concepts survive den, with such fatal flaws undermining its stability? It is a marvel den, dat there realli exists such a pathethic organisation, which despite all the obvious flaws pointing strongly to its decline, is still going on strong.
Ah. Dats where democracy plays a part. Remember the zeroth clause of democracy? It applies here. The stakeholders ( the pple who pays money too support the organisation ) are unaware of the misdeeds, the corruption and rotting that happens at the core of the organisation, due to the unknown force preventing all sources of outleaks of information or complaints. No one is allowed to breathe a single word to the stakeholders, or else, it will be the end of him. As such, the stakeholders are blissfully ignorant of the absence of logic in the organisation, nor acutely aware of the sufferings of the workers, nor even aware where their money is going to, and what KIND of pple their money is supporting and paying for. If they ever knew exactly what is going on, i can say a new revolution is on its way.
I dunno why am i experiencing such strong surges of emotion, waves of injustice beat at me, unbalanceness pelted right in my face. Either some kind soul pls enlighten me n save me out of this depression, or i can onli pray dat somehow, i am spared from this agony. Maybe a bout of amnesia will do the trick.
